Who? What? Where? - The MTV Movie Awards Edition

On Sunday, LA hosted the MTV Music Awards, with some great red carpet looks. The awards show had some pretty memorable moments including Channing Tatum twerking, Vin Diesel singing a tribute to Paul Walker and Shailene Woodley making John Green cry. The 23 year old beauty took home the awards for 'Best Female Performance', 'Best Kiss', and the 'Trailblazer Award' which has previously been awarded to both Emma Stone and Emma Watson. Below are my top 10 looks from the MTV Movie Awards.

1) Jessie J stunned in this edgy pyjama-style suit. While the outfit did not go down well with many, I am a huge fan of the daring look.

2) Cara Delevingne looked absolutely beautiful in this Reem Acra dress. I love the balance between the short hem and long sleeves. Bonus points for the gorgeous hair.

3) Shailene Woodley looked casual yet chic in this Isabel Marant outfit. Stripes are so in this season and I adore the high waist.

4) Bella Thorne wowed in a Peter Pilotto dress. The pattern is perfect for spring, and the matching clutch and heels help to finish off the look.

5) Hailee Steinfeld wore a stunning Rodarte outfit. This outfit was daring and I applaud Hailee for her confidence.

6) Holland Roland looked cute in a monochrome Caterina Gatta outfit. The plunging neckline remained classy due to the closed collar and long sleeves.

7) Willow Shields looked so mature in this Bibhu Mohapatra dress. Her wavy hair and red lips brought the whole look together.

8) Scarlet Johansson was pretty in a pink Zuhair Murad jumpsuit.

9) Victoria Justice wore a Versace dress that was sparkly and fun, with a chic pair of pointed heels to top off the look.

10) Emily Ratajkowski looked edgy and sexy in this Fausto Puglisi dress.

Coachella Couture: Weekend 2

Last weekend saw the end of Coachella 2015. The second weekend of the Californian festival was considerably more laid back than the first, with much fewer celebrities attending. However, those that did go made sure to keep up the high standards of festival fashion. Below are my top five favourite looks from Weekend 2 of Coachella.

1. Paris Hilton

2. Kylie & Kendall Jenner (with Khloe Kardashian)

3. Paris Hilton

4. Kendall Jenner

CoacHELLA Cool Hair

It's Coachella time.

I don't know about you, but for the past day I have been gazing at pictures online of the Californian festival. While Coachella may be all about the music for those who are fortunate enough to attend, those of us who merely dream of attending can focus on the amazing festival fashion worn by famous festival goers. Unfortunately, Her Royal Highness Vanessa Hudgens, the Queen of Coachella, cannot attend this year as she is performing on Broadway in "Gigi" (which is pretty exciting in itself). Last year, the style icon dyed her long hair a blonde ombré, which has inspired a few celebs to do the same this time around-their own way.

Kylie Jenner has dyed her hair a shocking teal, which she some how manages to pull off without looking like a blue bon bon. I certainly wouldn't have been brave enough to do so myself, but I applaud the fashionista who is working the look.

Supermodel Jourdan Dunn dyed her hair a chic greyish-blue. Miraculously, the model succeeded in pulling off this season's grey-haired trend without looking like a granny.

Julianne Hough also dyed her hair a bubblegum pink, yet somehow managed to look festival ready and not like candyfloss. I'm impressed.

M&S' Saviour Suede Skirt

Marks & Spencer's has always been know for great food and terrible fashion. While their Percy Pig's and cookies were a hit from the beginning, the retailer has never quite succeeded in creating stylish clothes: until now. In February, both Alexa Chung and Oliva Palermo were spotted in M&S' new suede skirt, months before the skirt comes out. Due to be released this Friday, 10th April, the trendy skirt will only be for sale in the chain's top 100 shops, at an uncharacteristically expensive price of £199.

Channelling this season's 70s trend, the skirt is mid-length and so it is smarter than the shorter A-line skirts of the 60s, and can be worn both in and outside of an office. The skirt has sparked some controversy, with the likes of Jane Asher disliking the coveted skirt. However, similar skirts were seen throughout designers' SS15 collections, including Chloé's denim version, and Jason Wu's olive suede skirt. Whether it be buttoned-up, split, suede or denim, I think it's safe to say that a long 70s skirt is this season's staple piece.

Top Trend: Gingham

Gingham has been around for years, but for Spring/Summer 2015, designers took the trend in a different direction. No longer solely for picnic blankets and Dorothy-style pinafores, the print was seen on almost every runway in different sizes and styles. Whether it's a sexy, sheer skirt or a slick suit, make sure that gingham is on you this season.
